Elsternwick Hotel

Food tasted off and as if it had been defosted-the potatoes were bad, the vegetables had a strange texture, the schnitzel was like cardboard. The lamb tasted odd. I suppose it would since it was heated up from being frozen. Third horrible meal from here in a few months. I only go here as my friends like to meet here. Really disappointed. This needs to change!Unacceptable!

The worst service I've experienced in a long time! The waitress who took our meal orders and brought us our meals, JESS, was SO RUDE!!! She practically threw the cutlery onto our table and was so unfriendly it was appalling! I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! The male bar attendant wasn't much better, and we had to actually return one drink, a basic spirit & coke, because it had NO SPIRIT in it!!! This hotel could be great, but the service I have experience on both occasions I have gone has ensured I will never return!

The 'Wick hotel has plenty of parking out back and is reasonably priced. Having said tht it lacks charm and warmth and the decor is very tired. Very popular with the older local poker machine crowd who sit zombie-like for hours.

This was the first pub i walked into when i moved to Melbourne and it will always be one i go back to because i walked in that day and they put the NRL on a TV for me. A small TV in a corner mind you but a TV nonetheless which is amazing during AFL season in Melbourne.



Since then i've made it a bit of a regular haunt for when the boys get together as it's got a bit of everything. TAB, Pool Tables, every sport imaginable on TV.



A few months back they even put in some decent outdoor furniture which is good leading into summer.

Got beer on tap, got pool, funky music, a decent parma and pokies. Can't ask for much more from a pub
