Elston Restaurant & Wine Bar

Friendly service that wears thin during a 90 minute wait for food, despite being told several times it was just minutes away.
Food was tasteless (I had fish chips and calamari). The fish was nothing special and was lukewarm, the chips were cold and the calamari had no taste besides the overwhelming salt the chef cooked it in.
Avoid.

I went to Elston earlier in the month and had a pleasant experience. The fit out is nice, not so great for big groups though. They took a little while bringing out our order, and missed some of the juices. The food, I thought, was a bit expensive, but overall the experience was pretty good.

A nice and upper class restaurant. We decided to have a pleasant breakfast before our big day at the theme park. Staff were very professional and we were seated immediately. Menu look and sounded great and not to mention pricey but it was a given. I order poached eggs bacon and toast which is a standard breakfast choice but when it cane out, presentation for something simple, i was really impressed. Although it didn't take me long to gobble it all down as the portion size is not like ordering a big breakfast at a cafe. I liked the sauce that came with it, was something different to the mouth. Great dining experience if you are feel like spoiling yourself for a day.
