Based in Eltham, Victoria, we provide high quality veterinary care and great personalised service in a friendly professional manner.Drs Steve Pryor and Gus Braniff have built the practice into a vibrant, friendly practice. We operate from a brand-new, purpose-built Hospital on the Corner of Main and Mt Pleasant Rds, Eltham. The fully computerised practice is equipped with modern medical equipment such as in-house pathology system, the latest x-ray equipment, endoscopes, ultrasound and advanced anaesthetics to ensure the best care for your pet. I rushed my very sick dog to Eltham Vets and whilst my dog was being examined by the vet,he said you do realise today's visit must be paid in full before you leave. I couldn't believe my ears, my dog was barely holding onto life! ALL ABOUT THE MONEY! NO I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRACTICE
After a truly traumatic experience at the vet in plenty road, and not being able to secure an appointment at the cat hospital in hawthorn, I found another option of a home visit. This turned out to be a blessing. Sophie (the cat) didn't have to endure the stressful car ride and Dr Mina and her student Vivienne were so kind and compassionate. They both listened patiently as I told them Sophie's history, her symptoms and my concerns. Dr Mina was gentle in her actions, sympathetic and understanding. She had some great ideas re. Allergies and stress. Sophie was able to have a microchip at home, the procedure was quick and done all in my lounge room.
This option of having a vet come to my house has saved my little friend a great deal of unnecessary stress. Dr Mina and her student were truly kind, patient, knowledgable and understanding. 10/10 service.
Thanks to Steve and the staff, at Eltham Veterinary Practice, for all your help over the years with my golden retriever Freddy. Through all the ups and downs, tears and smiles, your service has been of the highest standard with honest and realistic advice that i have really appreciated. I know my family and myself will always be loyal customers (the 30min drive, since we have moved away from the area, is really worth it) as the service we receive is invaluable. I will always recommend your practice to my friends and family, especially since our pets are members of our family.
So fantastic! Absolute lifesavers! I had to bring my beagle in right before they closed and they saw me straight away and my poor little girl needed xrays on her stomach and they kept me up to date with what was happening (AND how much it was going to cost!) the whole time and the vet was so friendly and explained everything so I could actually understand it! I even got to bring my girl home that night and she already looked so much better from what they'd given her and done! I'll never go anywhere else again!!
