quoted a price over the phone then when met up upped it by $5 which I thought was wrong. Served the papers, provided me with the affidavit, lodged it with the court thought it was fine until the registrar processing the divorce stated the affidavit was incomplete and not sufficient, I explained it was a process server and assumed he knew what he was doing. She actually called him from the court room to clarify his statement and luckily it was adjourned as she stated if he didn’t answer the phone another affidavit would be required. Stress I did NOT need. She stated that it was ‘disappointing’ that a person promoting that service did not do his job right, her words not mine.
