Embiggen Books

I've walked past this place a few times, but I have never made the effort to actually step inside and look around (probably because I kept on forgetting that this place actually existed). Anyway, one lunchtime, after being reminded that this was a bookshop that I needed to visit sooner rather than later, I finally ended up heading inside. I have to say that I was pretty impressed. Okay, it isn't one of those crowded and dusty bookshops, but it still has an enormous amount of character. It is not just books that they have here, but also lots of cabinets with interesting things inside. If they don't have a book they are more than happy to see if they can order it in, and they do arrive pretty quickly as well (mine arrived within four days). Oh, they also have a monthly bookclub in the store as well as a coffee machine.

Not a large bookshop but very charming and inviting. The ambient interior sets the whimsical atmosphere, decorated with beautiful props. The books are of gorgeous editions, collectibles. Book Lovers haven. Greeting cards inside. If takeaway coffee or tea is needed, grab some inside.
