My wife has booked a visit and a stove repair with Chris a few days ago, to come today, Friday to fix our stove's door seal.
Last night we get a text message informing us that the booking has been cancelled, without any explanation or reason why.
We texted back asking what was the reason for cancelling. We haven't heard back even today.
We are very disappointed with the lack of customer service and communication.
I understand that plans can change. All I'm asking is a bit of respect and the decency to give us the reason as to why a booking has been cancelled and maybe even rebook for a different time. If we were to cancel this booking we would have given the reason for them.
Very bad service. I would have expected better.
We had a broken oven. Called them out and they replaced oven fan with old part they had on hand & charged us +$$ for the part. They didn't provide us with a receipt for the work because we got a senior citizens discount. 2 wks later went to use stove again and it was broken. There was no guarantee on the work they did, we called them back out to look at it. They claimed the "bearings" in the fan needed to be replaced for $120 plus labour. We thought that was v-expensive- so they huffed & stormed out when we didnt agree to their pricing. we called out another electrician who took a look at the so called "part" they put in. It was a really old part, really rusty. Had to be replaced, again. Please note that the fan doesn't have bearings at all.
Overall we were not satisfied with their customer service.

Your comment on our work is miss informed. The oven fan motor was never replaced in your oven it was the fan blades only Hence the $10 charge only, not $120. The motor does have bearings other wise it would not turn,These were sprayed with 2-26 lubricant on the first call. We charge $75 for a service call plus parts.(New fan motor cost is $120).We charged your parents $80 total for the first account so obviously we had not put in a new fan motor.We always Guarantee our work and give receipts if they are asked for.
The younger of the 2 guys came around and fixed our stove on a Saturday afternoon with 1 hours notice when i explained we were having a dinner party that night. didnt screw me around, just charged the standard call-out rate despite spending almost 1.5hrs on it. cant recommend them more strongly.
I called the guys up at 930am on a Monday morning because my stove simply wouldn't work. I was hoping they would be able to come over by Tuesday PM as i was having friend's over that night. However, Dom showed up at 1015am and had everything fixed by 11am. It was great service. He fixed the stove, explained what went wrong and made sure everything was cleaned before he left. Also, really reasonably priced. I would recommend them to anyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!
