I have been there heaps of times and I really enjoyed having the Cantonese Fillet Steak because it melts in your mouth also I enjoyed having the Spring Rolls and the Banana Fritter with Ice cream as well because they are both cooked to perfection also I find the staff are very kind to me.
Well it was Aloof from the moment I was there, Seemly old fashion building and morals. I watched carefully over the menu, and I must say a diverse one even for Chinese. It seemed like an eternity to decide before opting the following, starting with 3 "homemade" dumplings and 3 dim sims, followed by a spicy won ton soup which oozed character and was by all means cheeky. Before I had a nice and tasteful lettuce cup, which was more like a 1/4 lettuce cup (pun intended) sided with fried rice. As a main I went for the Satay chicken once again sided with fried rice, it was not a pretty oil painting but I did enjoy the taste, topped off with a deep, deep fried ice cream ball, to which I very much enjoyed. So all in all I say its worth the effort to walk a seemingly never ending flight of steps, to enjoy a good, if not great meal. Mr Magoo
