endota spa richmond

Had been given a voucher for my birthday for this spa. Having never been there before I had heard good things so was looking forward to a special experience. The staff were really lovely but the premises were small and pokey and very close to the road. Every conversation in the building could be heard as well as from the street and the traffic. Not very relaxing given that is their core objective. The foot treatment I had was very pedestrian. Putting your feet in a large steel mixing bowl - that was it!! The pedicure was the worst I have ever had. Terrible nail work and the polish was inconsistently applied and smudged. For $90 it was an absolute waste of money. I doubt any training was behind this process. My local nail bar for $30 is a clear winner every time.

It was my birthday and I wanted to spoil myself. I took the afternoon off work and headed to Endota in Richmond for a massage.

I was greeted and shown to the waiting room which was dirty (not swept or dusted in months) with a used glass from the past client sitting in front of me.

I was concerned as the spa front was facing Lennox St and Bridge Rd which was very loud and busy. I was shown to a room at the end of the building still close to the roads however the only noise I could hear was the trams going past so I was content the massage would be ok. ...read more
