Bought a scooter last Friday, contacted them today (Tuesday) to let them know I would like to bring it back as I recently found out its a double up gift. Owner will return it at a cost of $55.00 re-stocking fee To place it back in the pile of scooters?? I hate being ripped off and unfortunately I feel that in this situation. I like to support small business but these 'hidden fees' are the reason I wont again. Rebel, Toys R us etc. don't charge a re-stocking fee.
I ordered a scooter from Engadine cycles for my daughter for Christmas. It got lost in the post, and even though they weren't at fault Engadine Cycles went out of their way to organise a replacement and make sure we received it in time for Christmas. Their kindness was very much appreciated!
They wouldn't allow an 8 year old boy to test drive a scooter as the stock was all tired up and they couldn't be bothered unlocking them. They expected us to buy an expensive product without checking if the size was suitable. We took our business elsewhere of course.
