If you're looking for a bit of culture in the form of a play - be it comedy or drama - the ensemble is the place to go! It's quirky, it's relatively cheap for theature and they have an onsite restaurant.

The theatre itself is small so it's an intimate experience where you can truly immerse yourself in the production.

It's a unique night out, in charming Kirribilli, if you aren't confident about finding a parking spot then just take a train and walk from Milsons Point station. You can buy a subscription for a number of plays or for the entire annual season. If that's not your thing, just get tickets for one play, order online or phone up, the staff are always lovely. I recently saw a David Williamson play and it was good, and then we spied the play-write and his wife in the audience ! Good restaurant and bar and killer views of the harbour. Great night out.

This is a really good way to start your evening at the theatre. Views are lovely - especially in the summer when the days are long. Food is good and not too pricey.
