Epping Hotel Bistro
The Epping Hotel is a very popular place with the local youth, especially on Wednesday evenings. Offering a clicky atmosphere and a stylish setting, this is a popular place to meet up with friends. The Epping Hotel is a fun place to be, with entertainment available during the week. Open early in the morning and closing late at night, this is the place for a drink and meal any time of the day.
Actually, this pub wasn’t all that bad, particularly for a pub that is starting to get into Sydney’s middle-ring suburbs. The atmosphere is great, and they also have some decent beers on tap, which is honestly always going to grab my attention. In fact it was rather pleasant to land up at this pub, particularly since the really bad experience I had has the previous establishment I visited. So yeah, the service with pretty good, and quite friendly as well, and the décor was rather relaxing, and as such I really did like this place.
I live 20 mins walk from the Epping Hotel, so it’s my local bar, unfortunately I won’t ever be going there again, another good night until some louts threw a drink at people on the dance floor, I’m from Manchester England, which is a far more violent place to live, I didn’t expect to see this type of behaviour here in Epping.
I've been here quite a few times and each time I go, I'm disappointed. I once ordered a salad with panchetta, asparagus and a taragon sauce. A very strange tasting meal. The panchetta was so crispy it crumbled and tasted of burnt, and there wasn't a single piece of asparagus on my plate. Generally the food is ok, but nothing special for the price you pay. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed, however, overhearing crude conversations from the kitchen puts you off your food. That said, it's conveniently situated and for pub grub there isn't much competition in Epping
