Opened in 2005, this state of the art hospital has 223 beds, an 18 bed level 3 state of the art critical care unit, a 24 bed cardiac unit and over 75% private rooms. Its principle focus is on cardiac, vascular, orthopaedic and general surgery, oncology, urology and endoscopy services.
Epworth Eastern maintains state of the art equipment, including one of Epworth'ss two da Vinci robotic operating systems, digital operating suites, a computerised medication administration system, and operates in a fully wireless environment.

First class care as always, from nursing staff, physicians and surgeon in my experience.
All other staff are pleasnt and friendly to make your stay in hospital calm.
No pomp and ceremony here just modern professional with genuine interest in your wellbeing.
I realise the hospital is designed so you can have your own surgeon and a comfortable environment, treated in a timely manner. Some fellow patients were embarassing when then talked to the nurses like servant. They have missed the point of private health care.
