The Katsu Rice Burger was different and a smart move considering Burgers are a popular favorite in the Sydney dining scene. However, how do you eat this thing when the usually stable bun is made of seaweed paper and crumbling rice hahahahaha It was great fun! Service was attentive and so friendly!!!
Erashai at Broadway might be located at one of the busiest main road in Sydney CBD, but once you've stepped in into the restaurant and you will the change in atmosphere. Occupying a medium sized store, the place has a slightly intimate yet spacious setting with slightly dimmed ambiance and soothing lounge-like music on the background. Despite being a Japanese restaurant, the decor spots a slightly Korean influence.
The food offerings mostly consists of the classic Japanese dishes as well as a few unique dishes such as mini pot of mushroom and chicken soup. We ordered chicken karaage udon set that also comes with a plate of cut sushi roll, as well as unagi don with miso soup.
At around $12 per dish, the price points are very attractive, possibly one of the lowest in the area. The staffs are courteous, friendly, and attentive. It is one of those places where you can't wait to go back for more.
