Erskineville Public School escaped almost certain closure by the State Government in 2002. Since then it has grown from strength to strength. A fantastic community school, located within spacious grounds that have been vastly improved with the addition of sculptural art, an edible garden, and rainwater tanks in recent years. However, the best thing about this school is the dedicated and progressive teaching staff who are passionate about educating for the future and flexible in the delivery of their programme, taking advantage of all opportunities to maximise the experiences of their students.
