Espana is a small authentic spanish tapas bar, located in Broadbeach, QLD.
Since opening in November 2010, we have focused on a simple criteria of friendly service, fresh, honest & flavoursome food, exclusively Spanish beer, wine & sherry and a comfortable, lively & enjoyable dining environment.
Espana operates as an egalitarian first come, first serve, no bookings policy

Really friendly service from the staff but a bit disappointed with our visit.
The entire bar area was closed off and it was pretty quiet. Could use some music and fun to give a bit of atmosphere.
I chose a Spanish Rose wine to start, but it had been replaced by a French wine so not so authentic Spanish... (which was very light and still lovely.)
We weren't too hungry so just settled on two of the meals to share.
The calamari with aioli and lime, and grilled pork on moorish grain salad were both quite nice.
The high bar stools weren't overly comfortable and I had to stand for part of the meal to get the circulation back into my legs (probably just me as hubby was fine.)
Great spot at the start of the Broady Mall so easy to find and convenient parking under Oasis (free for first 3 hours.)
Worth stopping by.
