Essence & Flaunt Studio Photography

Don't like to leave bad reviews but I was very much looking forward to this as I have only one professional photo of my self and brother so I thought this would be a nice thing to do for a family thing. The deal claimed that a photo hair/makeup were all part of the deal unfortunately this was not the case as when we arrived I was asked if I was doing my makeup or wanted to pay extra for the lot (I was shocked by this and very disappointed, was lucky i had bought some makeup with me!) So the whole thing was off to a disappointing start. When we were ready for the session (within about 5-10 mins) we were given no direction despite clearly expressing our discomfort and not knowing what to do with ourselves, no guidance was given the whole session was to be frank a horrible experience for someone that doesn't like having their photo taken (the both of us) we both felt on edge had no idea what to do etc. The biggest problem though were the end photos, they barely ...read more

This is probably one of the best photo studios around. I never heard of them, but took a session with them through those groupon coupons. They were very friendly on the phone and was very very accomodating. The were very much into "what can I do to make this special for you". When we arrived for the shoot, the photographer was all ready and very jolly. Having been to many shoots before, I could instantly see that she was very professional and knew what she was talking about. She was very nice and offered all the space a client needs. There was no rush and questions were greeted with friendly gestures and a smile. During the photoshoot, there were more props than other places. She was very inventive with the poses and being in the industry knew how to get the right picture, at the right angle and the exact lighting.
