there is a cafe situated at this nursery called "the the nursery food conservatory bar" next door to nursery. it is a large cafe with both outdoor and indoor seating, several separate areas to sit in. the outdoor areas are lovely - garden settings with grape vines and wine barrel umbrella stand, etc and one area is fenced off for children with a cubby, slide and blackboard. no parking on site so parking is diffiicult out on the street. menu is large (pasta, salads, toasted sandwiches/focacias/wraps, meat and vegies, soup, etc) and drinks included all the usual cold and hot. coffees are ok (iced coffee i had was pretty weak) good value for $4). i tried the avacado sandwich which consisted of toasted pied with creamed avacado, a toasted tomato with spring onions and fetta which was yummy, good value for $12 and served very appealingly. also on offer was spagetti marinara and a calmari salad for $19. bar inside, changing facilties and high chairs ...read more
