i booked my discovery 3 for a regular service andt
to have front shockers replaced. the car was dropped off as requested early on Wednesday morning and told that sourcing replacement shockers 'won't be a problem'. I called the workshop late wednesday afternoon to see if i was able to pick up the car only to be told that they were having issues finding the shockers. I informed them that i was ok to leave the car with them overnight and that the following day would be fine. The following day, thursday, was another day of me having to call to check on progress...only to be told that the shockers that we had agreed on were no longer available for my car. Sorry you feel this way though I feel this is a bit unjust.
You requested a brand that has a 50% fail rate, We tried our best to find you a alternative so you did not have this problem again. We settled for another brand and went to put it in then found the vehicle has been raised so our part did not fit.
We finally found a part to fit this exact application and got it all fitted up.
You were dealing with one particular staff member(Sean) and then on completion myself (john) tried calling you. I was unaware not to call your mobile and only call your home phone.
On pick up your were clearly upset I said sorry for the delay but we finally got the part.
Nothing else was mentioned to me of your Concern of how you felt you were dealt with at Euro prestige.We pride our selves in having great customer service and I apologized if you feel you were not given this.
Hopefully we can make this up if you return for future service.
