Well what can I say about this so called company. We paid $14,500 back on the 16th jan 2014. We were told spa would be ready the week of the 3rd march. Nope still nothing. No phone calls no emails no communication. We have gone to fair trading and to the tribunal. I couldn't give a s**t about the swim spa I just want my money back. Not bloody good enough!!!!
get to the back of the queue! lol I was told after we ordered our spa in AUGUST that I would have it in 6-8 3
weeks and I'm still waiting!
I ordered a swm spa from Euromax in August 13 which still hasn't been delivered. All communication with the management, or anyone else for that matter stopped in early January 14. We have just lodged with Fair Trading. We appear to have lost out $14k deposit.
We've had a development - they rang today claiming they returned from holidays yesterday.....they entire staff had 2 months off apparently. Other excuses included, but not inclusively:
- we had a lot of orders in August
- we have no staff
- we are not a shop
- delays in customs
- delays in parts
- it's hard running a multi-million $ business!!!
Promises of an email to update on delievery date within 48 hours. yeah right.
Ok so I ordered my day bed back in August 2013 via Connect furniture. they put me on to the retailer Euromax. Euromax said I will have it in December, then mid Jan 2014. have emailed, called and left messages so many times but no pick up or reply. I'm going to head out there next week and get my money back. something not right
I hope you get your money back. I've had to go to VCAT and in fact received a letter today confirming they will advise of a tribunal date in the next few weeks. I don't feel Euromax have any intention of supplying any product and they just hope we go away. No company in their right mind would leave customers so unhappy unless there is something not right. Good luck.
We heard from them today - claiming they are victims of cyber crime (likely story) and that funds were transferred to an unknown party). They also claim that they have reported this to the police and are in discussions with fair trading (not sure if it's NSW - we lodged with the ACT).
Ordered a spa 14 months ago. Communication continued while money was coming and stopped completely once paid in full. I'm out of pocket by $9,000 and am lodging consumer complaints and commencing legal action. DO NOT USE!!
We would like to ask what spa was purchased 14 months ago that you did not receive? what is your name and invoice number for your order? We only have a few customers waiting at the moment and their orders were placed from October 13 - Jan 14. We welcome consumer affairs to contact us regarding your spa supposedly ordered from us 14 months ago...
LYNCH invoice 1000375. paid $4,841.40 7/11/12. paid $4,227.60 27/11/13. Last heard from you 16/10/13. Final payment has not been acknowledged, and contact to arrange delivery was promised in October but did not eventuate. All attempts to contact you and messages left over recent weeks have been unanswered.
We have already tried Consumer Victoria and Euromax spas refused to refund our money... instead they say they can't deliver the item and we have to organise delivery ourselves...we have paid them $1000 for delivery though! I have just filed a complaint with VCAT as I live in Victoria, it may take 6 months but as Euromax have now changed the contract they are in the wrong.
this is a response to euromax spas....we placed our order and paid for it in Aug 2013 and are still waiting therefore your statement to notatallhappy is factually incorrect.
Thanks for your feedback, fedupwitheuromax. I too have paid the $1,000 for delivery but have not even had the courtesy of a phone call to advise of any delivery issues. Have lodged a complaint with Fair Trading, and currently in the process of filing for hearing through NCAT, they advise that a hearing date will be set for between 2 & 5 weeks. I would encourage anyone else having similiar issues to use this forum to warn others.
