Europcar Truck Rental

Recently hired with Nowra Europcar (3 day hire while my car was being fixed) the service was fabulous, I was provided a free upgrade for the three days due to the smaller car having an odd smell from the previous renter. The man that served me could not have been more helpful and friendly, easy enjoyable process.

Europcar is synonomous for having really poor customer service, this is something I learn't after I tried to hire a van from them recently where I was told they do not have the van that my online booking confirmed I could hire and that it was constantly unavailable as it is always hired out to the local defence corp. After turning up to pick up the vehicle I had booked online to hire, I was told that I hadn't checked my emails (which I had and even had proof to show my inbox on my smartphone while I was standing there), to being told that I should go and look up another company to see if I can hire a van from them. Why is there a van on your website that allows me to book to hire if you are only going to give me every exccuse in the book as to why I was told to wait 3 working days to hire and on the day of pick up I am then told that its unavailable.
