They destroyed my down jacket and said they could not do anything about it. I did not get my money back, neither any compensation.
I asked if they knew how to clean a down jacket before I left it at Euro Star dry cleaners. They said yes. However when I got it back the down was clumped together at some parts and there was no down at other parts. The jacket was totally destroyed.
Worst Dry Cleaners in Darlinghurst.
Firstly I took a brand new silk top to be dry cleaned and noticed that it had small tears/holes in the top of the arm. Following this I changed dry cleaners.
I had previously taken a $400 silk dress to be dry cleaned. A few months later when I pulled it out (its a long formal dress, so doesn't get worn often), I noted that there were water marks/discoloration at the bottom of the dress. I took it to my new dry cleaner who explained that they didn't want to attempt to clean in again in fear that it might make it worse. I took it back to Eurostar, well they refused to help and even walked away from me at the counter.
Absolutely appalling service, I will never go back. I now go to other dry cleaners.
