Evelyn Charcoal Chicken

This place forms part of the first stop of the famous and scenic Lilydale to Warburton bike trail. It is unassuming on the outside but once you order I was extremely surprised and impressed by the quality of the chicken, gravy and the chips were the best to date. It was about $10 for half a chicken and chips and this was more than enough to feed the two of us. We saw a fair few locals visiting it during lunch which emphasises that this is a trustworthy local business. The baked potato also tasted delicious! Well worth the visit!
