It was a vmax cinema and my friends and I had come to see avengers endgame. we had couples seats and I was so excited and then we arrived and it was dirty, carpet and seats were disgusting. The seats were uncomfortable! No recliners, the actual seat was small, ended in the middle of my thighs, I spent a good portion of my time watching the movie just trying to be comfortable. Not worth the extra money for ‘vmax’ experience! If this was 26$ I’d hate to think about the quality of the cheaper cinemas at your parramatta store. Very disappointing and I wish I could get my money back.
My go to cinema. They have a Vmax, Gold Class and I believe 7 standard screens. This place is always packed on school holidays and weekends so book ahead online. The only negative is parking, Parramatta is one of the few Westfield's that doesn't extend parking for cinema goers, but you can just take public transport during the day or come after 6pm for free parking. There are also plenty of dining options on level 4 (same level as the Cinema) or outside on Eat Street.
Parking is the main problem There is nothing wrong with the cinema,it's near the train station and plenty of food options but if you drive here, the cinema can not validate tickets as they said they have no control over it so any movie which takes too long as well as grabbing food to eat will cost you! With a lot of movies being 2 hours nowadays it's a rush to time everything so you won't have to pay at least $7
Broadway validate tickets for 4 hours,if this events is losing money, now you know why!
This is a good event cinema. The real bonus is that you can easily get here from street level without navigating the entire centre (like many event cinemas I have been to). The cinema itself is quite large. The staff are friendly and I never have to wait long for a ticket. Good cinema going experience.
