I had electricity connected to a outdoor renovated room. There were numerous problems with this electrician. First, they promised a switch box that would be thin enough to hang a painting over it. The box after being installed was 5 inches thick - impossible to hide behind a painting. secondly, the electrician re-connected the pool pump - however, after I switched the pump on it didn't work. They connected a dead wire from inside the wall without checking to see if it was connected to the pool. It wasn't connected to anything. The electrician did not even test the pool pump after connecting this dead wire. They also placed a cover over the connections in the wall. But, the cover was shoddily done and there were gaps around it where I could see inside the wall. I asked them to come back and repair this - however I had paid the bill (before noticing this flaw) and they never returned - despite promising to do so.
