Ezard

My partner took me here for my birthday one year, very fancy fine dining experience, we had the degustation and a bottle of wine which in all was quite reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly.

We had the 8 course degustation and they are fantastic. Each meal was delicious. Staff was attentive and service was really good. They did an excellent job and thoroughly explained each dish. We added cocktails and the dessert tasting plate.

Just make sure you come with an empty stomach as this can be quite filling. Will definitely be back for another amazing experience.

We dined at Ezard recently with friends in the front private dining room. The venue and staff are fabulous, the service was exceptional. The food is the hero at Ezard and never disappoints. The service is attentive and the staff are friendly. May well be one of my favourite restaurants after all these years. The swordfish was divine and the duck was cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend a visit to this esteemed establishment.

It's modern fusion dining with a definite Asian twist. I loved the gnocchi and would definitely recommend the nougat with yuzu. There's definitely a Japanese feel to most dishes here and dishes are carefully thought out, lovingly prepared and beautifully presented. The foods looks like a work of art! The restaurant is beautiful with lovely views. It's on the expensive side and not every dish works. But that's the price one pays for being cutting edge, isn't it?

We've dined twice at Ezard, and know others that love it (my brother goes religiously every year for his birthday). However I'm not a massive fan. Yes the food is good - but not exceptional. And for the price you're really looking for exceptional. Also the fit out I find a little sterile and corporate. So a good option, but for the $$ I'd go elsewhere.
