Fairy Meadow Laundrette

I took some skirts there for drycleaning and upon collection found that, to my horror and amazement, that one of the skirts had been washed in water instead. The Italian linen skirt had lost a lot of its blue colour and the once crisp fabric was now floppy. I told the staff that the skirt was ruined and that I could no longer wear it. They had not worked on the day that I had dropped off the skirt so they said that they would hold onto the skirt so that they could discuss with the management and then call me back. I did not receive a call until about 6 weeks later when I was told that the skirt had been drycleaned since and that I would have to pay for it. I said that I wouldn't pay for it as it was ruined. The management told me to complain instead to the Office of Fair Trading and never to go to the laundromat again and then hung up on me!. Rude management!
