Being a parent can be challenging and having support to overcome those difficult patches can be useful. I have 20 years experience working with parents and children in an educational setting. Now I offer Counselling services to the whole family. Therapy is offered to families of special needs children and to families that may experience change and trauma in their lives. Individual play therapy is offered to children experiencing anxiety, fears, changes, dealing with divorce or behavioural issues. Social skill groups are offered for children experiencing social difficulties with peers. Support for parents is offered in the form of groups or family therapy. And siblings of special needs children can attend groups with other peers.
Play therapy techniques and group work are the main focus of my practice.
