A1. No- A Podiatrist is a fully qualified Allied Health Professional where you can claim your payment through most Private Health Funds.

Yes- For eligible patients BULK BILLING is available with your regular G.P.'s referral under Medicare-CDM Plan ). DVA or Veteran Affairs patients are Bulk Billed with a G.P.'s referral (D904). Work Cover is Bulk Billed with a G.P.'s referral.

A Podiatrist can provide you with a comprehensive Assessment on the above- including corns, calluses, foot deformities, footwear etc...It may be advisable that you have regular footcare with a Podiatrist- preventing injuries and infections.
