Fantastic handyman are horrible and completly unprofessional. They make a time to come out and do the job. They keep you waiting till allocated time and then at the last minute cancel on you. Would give them zero stars if I could. I would not reccommend them unless you like having your time wasted.

Used Fantastic Handyman to assemble for me an IKEA TV bench and install several cupboard door handles. I thought that I could do it by myself but the bench has 4 drawers and I got lost in the instructions. It was a good decision to call a professionalist with all the tools and so. Very, very happy with the job done.
"Allocated handyman arrived without tools, wanted to "see the job" first. After looking at the bathroom cabinet and shelves went to "get his tools". 15 minutes later, head office calls and says he wants "high risk pay" (over double the initial quote). Refuse this, as the work shown was exactly what was prior agreed to and quoted for. 30 more minutes pass before having to call back to find out what is going on. Apparently allocated handyman has left after he was refused his hazard pay and another will "come out tomorrow". Avoid the extortion, avoid Fantastic Handyman Melbourne."

I hired this company to do a couple of square metres of floor tiling. They promised to do it the following morning, but at 7:30pm on the evening before they called me and wanted to charge me extra money for equipment they claimed they would need to hire. Surely a "fantastic handyman" provides his own equipment, or at least informs the customer when giving the quotation? I cancelled the job, and am very angry!
Update! They gave me a $50 voucher to spend on their other services (gardening, etc), to make up for the inconvenience, so I am happy with that. I will take them up on it after Christmas and post another review then.

I hired the man for a very small furniture job. I was impressed that no matter the size of the work I got a very fast response. The quote I received later that day was good as well. Fast and easy - everything arranged and items fixed in no time. Keep up good work !
