Been here a few times it's always o.k steak's generally overcooked, pastas always good, friendly staff but tonight.......well the medium rare steak i ordered was raw!, literally touched the pan on each side and sent out, so raw it didn't even bleed absolutely horrendous I was also served rotten tomatoes (cherry tomatoe halves) with mould on them, after eating one and thinking "hmmm that tasted a bit rotten" i realised there was mould on them. I did get a refund for the meal while my brother and partner enjoyed the pasta they had, i also got served a drink and wrapped around the glass and straw were one of the thickest blackest longest hairs i think i've ever had the misfortune of encountering during a meal. I won't ever go back again i have given fasta pasta capalaba a few err's on the side of "well maybe they were having an off night" and being too lazy to travel to another suburb i'd resigned myself to eat here but never again all i can say is check your food and ...read more
Went here for Mother's day dinner. Were able to get a table without a reservation which kind of speaks a bit about Fasta Pasta.
The food was good, fresh and hot and on our table in 20 minutes. (2 adults, 2 kids).
The staff were quick courteous and efficient.
The restaurant is pleasant but is a bit noisy. Some soft furnishings on the walls would help in reducing the echoing sound or perhaps quiet music played over the tables. The walls need a bit of TLC where they've been scratched up and dinged. But no one goes to a restaurant for the decor, it's all about the food and the taste. And they do a good job at that for good value.
like the choice of being able to dine outside or inside, and there seems to be a very happy and friendly staff at Fasta Pasta, the menu is terrific so many choices and as far as price and quick service it just doesn't get any better, well done and keep up the good work
