The waiting staff do try in an establishment that can only be described as a starkly decorated 'Eatery'. The food was at best bland and I actually found myself looking longingly toward the salt dispenser. My pasta dish had a deep fried prawn resting somewhat nervously on the top of the offering. My new found friend was still frozen inside, so we parted company immediately. The rest of the dish was disappointingly average and lacked any 'freshness'. Waiting staff tried all the way, however the Chef and management need to be much more vigilant in the quality of what is being presented to each table. A quick guzzle of the hot cider that was delivered in a tepid state topped off a forgettable experience.
Bill paid and a quick exit never to Return.
After a booking confirmation error we were seated up the back with a view straight into the toilets. Menu looked interesting, however gluten free attracted a hefty fee. Several people ordered an entree, which turned out what looked liked it had been deep fried a number of times. Whilst eating the entree the mains showed up. Drinks ordered took their time coming. I had the gluten free pizza, tasted great however the kangaroo was extremely lean, by that I mean there was hardly any of it. The stars are for the guy who served us, extremely polite, friendly and helpful. I will not recommend to friends and family.
Menu looked very good, and was excited to eat here. Asked for a table of 5 and waited for a table to be set up. My partner noticed a 2 seat table next to a 4 seat table next to the window, so we asked if we could sit there and just move the tables a bit closer together. When the wait staff went to ask the managerment? I overheard management tell the wait staff in a very aggravated rude tone why we couldn't sit there and move the tables. I understand if they had had a hard day but they were so rude and all the rant was within earshot of all of us! So we walked out and went across the road. They were very accommodating, good customer service and nice food. :)
