Hi Kieran. We are sorry you feel that you were not dealt with in a timely manner. I can see from our records that you emailed us just before closing on Thursday and we got back to you first thing on Monday morning. We are sorry about the delay in communication but it has been extremely busy here with our stocktake sale. We are flat out with demand which is a good problem to have but unfortunately the bad side is that replies to emails take a little longer than usual! Re our packaging, we use a combination of bubble wrap, recycled paper, packing peanuts along with insurance to ensure our products are sent as safely. Unfortunately though, as with any product sent in the mail, no matter how good the packaging, items can be mishandled/ damaged during transit. This is unavoidable. We pride ourselves on resolving any issues as quickly as we can. We can see that you received the two replacement tidy clips. We hope you are enjoying your new light.
Fantastic customer service when I had a question prior to ordering. Lamps arrived when I was told to expect, and the product was very good quality, solid brass and extremely well made (the old fashion way!). They are weighty and will last many many years, unlike stuff in the local big furniture stores. Seriously impressed and would order from the company again.
Would not deal with this company again. Poor communcation and cant get the order correct.
It is unfortunate that you feel disappointed by our service. We pride ourselves on getting our orders out on time and correct as we did in your situation. However as we understand it your disappointment is that our system did not pick up that you actually wanted different products than the ones you ordered. We can not predict this and with current technology it would be incredibly difficult to embed that level of intuition into a website. However who knows what technology will emerge so never say never.
