Feet First Orthotics are registered as healthcare providers with different hospitals and clinics affiliated with Ramsay Health , United care health, Queensland health department, Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA), and Work Cover.

Feet First Orthotics is a registered services provider with AOPA (Australian Orthotic and Prosthetic Association) for all kinds of orthotic services

We have been servicing the Sunshine Coast for approximately 20 years. Specialising in custom made orthoses and orthopaedic appliances, ranging from foot orthotics, lower limb bracing through to spinal supports.


Feet First Orthotics was initiated and founded in 1996 by Leonie Walton an orthotist graduated from Latrobe University in Melbourne over 25 years ago. Over the years, Leonie has gained experience in both handmade and computer aided manufacturing techniques, however still chooses to make all orthoses and appliances by hand for accuracy and versatility in the design process over the convenience of technology.


Due to the establishment & functioning of Clinics at different locations on the Sunshine Coast and strong links with Hospitals and clinics, the number of referrals has increased greatly over the years. In order to continue an individualised, comprehensive and convenient service to patients, Feet First Orthotics has relocated from Peregian Beach to Technology Drive, Warana which is the Medical and health care hub of the Sunshine Coast .


Two new Orthotists, Basreen Faiz and Faiz Rahman joined the Practice in October 2016. Both are highly qualified with more than 10 years of world class clinical experience around the Globe in lower limb orthotics, spinal bracing as well as dealing with complex disabilities.


Patients may book appointments at any of the clinics with or without a referral letter. Home and hospital visits are also possible for most areas of the Sunshine Coast.
