New management took over Fenix in mid-2013. We had a function at Fenix under the old management, and everything was perfect. The staff were friendly and food was a delight. Unfortunately, our function package had inclusions which were due to be provided after the new management took over. The new management have refused to provide those parts of the package. If I were to base my score on the old management, I would give Fenix 4 stars. The new management would score 0 or 1 star. So I have split the difference and given Fenix 2 stars.
After the mother's day 2013, we decided to give you restaurant another go. We were left unsatisfied and for what the price is I don't believe the quality and standard of food lives up to it. Must say service was outstanding. Unfortunately I will not be returning.

Fenix Restaurant is now closed and Fenix is now operating under new management exclusively as an event venue. We intend to continue providing that outstanding service that you received to ensure our clients have an amazing experience with us.

I religiously watch Masterchef and Gary is my favourite of the judges. I have been to boathouse and now also to Fenix and I hope he will open many more places I can go to.
Sunday family lunch was amazing. All sharing dishes in the middle of the table for everyone to dig into. Food was gorgeousThe atmosphere was so friendly not fine dining like I thought it would be but much better!
