Fenix in Chelsea Heights offer a 30 day free trial, which is basically a trick to get you into their business so that they can pressure you to sign a membership. I contacted them in September 2010 about the 30 day free trial as I was considering switching from my current gym. They rang me and made an appointment. When I arrived they informed me that the only way I could use the "free trial' was if I signed up for a full membership including signing a direct debit contract.

I told them I wasn't happy to do that and that I was unhappy that they had wasted my time getting me in for an appointment and basically their 'free trial' is false advertising. They just shrugged their shoulders at me.

I even wrote a feedback email to Fenix Chelsea Heights and to Fenix Corporate Office and 3 weeks later no one has even bothered to respond to my feedback.
