The engine on my diesel Ssangyong started running unusually rough on our trip through central Australia in April 2013. Took the car to Fidler & Clark in Alice Springs. Luckily Rob [Clark?] had the diagnostic tool to identify the fault [Probably the only one in the NT]. Problem was ONE faulty "injector connector" on top of the engine. Rob fixed the problem and did some other work for me. Refused to bill me and told us to enjoy the rest of our holiday - which we did. What a great guy. Other mechanics I know would be looking to see how many zeros they could add to the final amount.
