I found Jacqui by chance! I was in desperation after having experienced a full 12 months of heartache and pain trying to conceive our 2nd child! We had experienced 2 pregnancy losses and it had both emotionally and physically taken it’s toll on me! My first appt with Jacqui was amazing! She is extremely thorough with her care and takes a holistic approach to your health. If it wasn’t for Jacqui, I believe that we would still be trying OR would have had to consider IVF. Jacqui was amazing throughout my whole pregnancy and nothing was too difficult! Jacqui went above and beyond to ensure she could see me if I needed a last minute appointment! I HIGHLY recommend anyone going to see Jacqui regardless of your concerns!! She is amazing and I will be forever thankful for her and her services!!!!!
Thanks Lauren .... you were very compliant and a pleasure to work with. This is why I love my job! Thankyou for taking the time to write such a lovely review. Have a great day.
I found Jacqui to be very helpful, and in particular very focussed on educating me on diet and lifestyle. Her knowledge and passion about Chinese Medicine are evident and as result I am feeling much better.
Oh thank you Sophia.
I missed this review, sorry for the late reply.
Food is either a medicine or a poison, so I always like to educate patients on the Chinese Medicine view of food, which is vastly different to the western view. A little understanding of dietry therapy, specific to the patient and their deficiencies, is critical to achieving great results.
Her aggressive approach caused me to leave half way through the consultation even after she was 15 minutes late for our appointment. I would have felt better spending my money on a new pair of shoes and shouting friends for a coffee. Extremely disappointed.
Hello WM,
Im sorry you feel like that at this moment.
My approach was not aggressive, it is my job and my duty of care to you as a patient to inform you of things in your diet or lifestyle that are contributing to your illness. Thats why you see a health practitioner.
I have these discussions with all of my patients so that they can make informed choices. We always discuss the TCM theory in the consult so patients gain some understanding of this amazing medicine. It empowers the patient to make better decisions around their diet and lifestyle... so they can start using food as medicine, rather than eating in a way that further contributes to their disease.
You are the only patient in 8 years to be offended by a discussion that was an essential part of enabling you to further heal yourself.
I hope you change your position and take onboard some of the advice i gave you. It will help you.
Take care.
I called you hours prior to your appointment to inform you that a friend had a medical emergency and we pushed back your appointment. I called you again when I was leaving the hospital to let you know I was going to be a few minutes late.
Sometimes there are unexpected emergencies in life. My friend was very sick. I made the right decision when i went to help her.
As a society, we lack generousity, compassion and empathy... and this can lead to incorrect assumptions.
If someone you were very close to was really ill, i would hope that you would take time off work to help them.
In hindsight I should have rescheduled your appointment but i didnt want to inconvenience you.
Sorry you had to wait 15 minutes.
