I took my vehicle to this company to repair a blown head gasket. The original quote for the work was $4000 but by the time the car was ready to be picked up, the cost had blown out to $6000. Within a week, the engine developed a loud rattling sound related to the repair. The car was returned but no rectification action was provided despite having a warranty for the work. The car was inspected by a competent mechanic and it was found that too much silicon had been used which caused a blockage in a new timing chain tensioner causing the timing chain to rattle and the engine to misfire. It was also found that there were missing bolts, incorrectly repaired bolt hole threads, reused and missing o-rings/seals, panel dents, paint chips, and paint scratches. The engine misfire in turn caused the failure of a catalytic converter. The total cost to repair the damage caused by Fineline Automotive Services has to date cost $8000, not including the panel and paint damage.
Daryl and the boys are top blokes AND mechanics. Cannot recommend them highly enough. If you have troubles getting an LPG service done elsewhere, give Daryl a call. If he can't fix it it CAN'T be fixed!!! The guy is upfront and dead honest!!

I was recommended here by my Uncle, who used to use these guys for his old cars. Pretty happy with the major service (all filters and fluids changed) they did. They did forget one thing though, but he apologized and agreed to fix it the next morning. No arguing or anything necessary, like some people may have experienced with other mechanics.
