Finished Timber Floor Sanding

I would recommend Matt and his team to anyone considering getting their floors sanded and polished. I contacted Matt when I had a serious problem with my previously polished floors and he came around immediately to advise me. Matt understood the urgency of my problem and was at my home the next day to fix it. I now have beautiful re polished floors. The workmanship was excellent, the dust minimal and Matt was very helpful in answering all of my questions. A real lifesaver and I will always recommend him. Thank you Matt!

We recently had our timber floors sanded and repaired by Matt and his team. Matt was efficient and very professional, from quoting for the job, arriving on time on the day we agreed, to leaving final instructions on the care for our newly reconditioned floors. We could not be happier with the results. The finish is exceptional and it brought out the stunning natural colour of our Yarrah floors. I am looking forward to enjoying the floors for many years to come and I can gladly recommend Matt and his team.

Matt was recommended by another floor sander and I couldn't have been happier with the result. I was very impressed by his professionalism, attention to detail and honesty. We decided to get a quote from Matt after he did my brothers floor 2 years ago and they are still looking good. We were happy with Matt's reasonable price, he did a fantastic job of our floors which was originally orange-y gloss and unprofessionally done by previous owners. Our kitchen had old vinyl over the floor boards which left dark stains. Matt managed to transform our floors into a fresh new caramel colour in a matte finish. Matt was on time as promised, leaving our place clean and free of dust.

Overall, we couldn't be happier with the result.

What impresses with Matt...is he is a 'can do' tradesman. You speak to many in the floor sanding trade and they tend to be specialists in a particular finish..and thus steer you toward that specialty. We had a preferred concept...White floors ! Yes..painting over blackbutt to achieve a fresh new look. We love the outcome. Matt was comfortable trialing our preferred product (Durobond Acrylic ) despite others being hesitant. The hesitancy..the risk of tannins coming through and a new product. However Matt's floorsanding, application of a tannin blocker , and final coating achieved a hardy , durable and stunning finish. Great to work with. Recommend !!!
