Finn MacCool's

I believe that ages ago this used to be the old Norwood Hotel, but for as long as I can remember it has been an Irish pub known as Finn McCools. It wasn't one of the best pubs that I've been to (and I have to say that I've probably only been here a couple of times anyway, however there were some parts, such as the outdoor area, and the room that is referred to as 'the street', that I remember). While it is branded as an Irish Pub (complete with the numerous things hanging on the wall) it does seem to have the standard list of beers on tap. What I did find quite cool was the room known as 'the street', which looks like an old shopping strip with a number of fronts of Irish shops. It is quite a charming place for a meal, and certainly adds some character to the place.

Great little pub. Has really nice food. The atmosphere is great especially when they have live bands which is almost all the time. If you cant think of anywhere to go for dinner try this place out its great.
