I went to the boatshed with my family on mothers day. We had a 2pm booking and we had to wait over 30mins to be seated. While we were waiting the staff were using bad language, showing lots of frustration and stress. A cook walked out with a plate of food and a cigarette in her hand(not lit). Our cake that needed to be put in the fridge was still sitting on the bench, 15 minutes after we gave it to the staff. When we sat down at our table, our order wasnt taken for 20-30 minutes. The location is pretty nice and there is heaps of parking around. The cafe sits above the beach which is great for families with small kids.
They were short staffed when we were there so were run off their feet. They did pretty well and got majority of our order correct. The food is pretty average and the menu basic. the big breakfast is large but not as large as others, scrambled eggs on toast (eggs were a bit too creamy for my liking). You get loads of toast with your orders.
the prices are pretty good considering the quality of food that you are getting.
