Fish n Grill

A month back I was at this place in Toorak Village; having walked past it a number of times before in which I thought it actually looks quite fresh and clean and the afternoon sun just made it a perfect location to be seated outside in one of these cold Melbourne winters. I had ordered a chicken from another location and only wanted some of their chips, I asked if it was ok for us to do that and the fellow was more than accommodating, and provided us with few extra plates. When the chips came out I found it to be quite a generous serving for its price compared to dine in locations and they were cooked perfect as what was requested. I would like to return again to try one of their seafood pack, the service was great, nice location would highly recommend for anyone in the area.

Great location for lunch, the sun shining on to the store to give it a nice warm feeling. Fish n Grill is set in the heart of Toorak. Within Toorak Village it is the only fish n chips store so it is quite popular. Prices are a bit more than average given that it is located in Toorak so it is expected. Service is great and average time wait, not too long. Just wanting a quick bite as was feeling peckish, i ordered a small serving of chips for $4. I requested for it to be crunchy as well. When i got my order the plate size was filled with chips so the serving was reasonably fair and yes indeed it was crunchy where you can hear the chips crunch on each bite. I hadn't had the chance to try their fish on the menu as it was pricey compared back to home. The store was very clean and bright and open in terms of the display of the fresh fish as though it was a fish market. They also had fresh salad to pick from.
