Fisherman's Wharf Tavern Pty Ltd

Fisherman's Wharf Tavern is a gorgeous place to have a few drinks at the end of the day & watch the sun set over the water. I came here with a friend after work one day, ordered a few cocktails & wedges with sour cream. It was great, they make a mean Mojito & the Passionfruit Vanilla cocktail was great too. We were so surprised at the huge size of the plate of wedges when it came out. We couldn't get through them all. Nice!

Love the food they serve here, been here a few times, and never disappointed. Their Bruschetta was to die for, flavours for something so simple tasted divine, was just enough of everything on it to make it work perfectly, Large portions, Affordable. Their Chunky fries are always crispy (just how I like it) yum yum yum...

..My ONLY criticism is that the Aioli isnt good....I strongly urge you to change it, and look for a better one/or learn how to make a better one, it killed the chips, other than that, This place always offers great live entertainment, and other then the tacky vending machines (which i still dont get why theyre there given the food served is excellent and very affordable anyway, theres really no need for it...

Would've happily given you full stars, but was let down solely on the Aioli.....

27/12/2011. Went here for lunch with family from overseas. Boy was this a disappointment! I ordered "Wedges" which were in fact chips! The sour cream decided to curdle on my meal so I asked the staff to organise a refund. (Bearing in mind Im pregnant) The management came along and argued with me that it was fine to eat. My guests at the table totally disagreed and said sour cream does not curdle on heat, it goes runny. The management continued to argue with me. threw their hands in the air and walked off and said "What ever!" How rude was this service and to think we had already spent in excess of $100 and were contemplating dessert! I do not recommend this place one bit!

Fishos is the best! Sundays are awesome for the younger generation with live bands, DJs and drink specials. get in early to avoid lines and grab some food! Their lunch menu is really nice and the location right on the water is absolutely gorgeous on a clear day. Highly recommended who loves a social drink on a Sunday!
