Fit Podiatry
The terms chiropody and podiatry are often used interchangeably. The difference between podiatry and chiropody is based on education and the scope of practice. Podiatrists commonly provide assessments, essential foot care, and treatment for conditions such as:
- Growing pains
- Hypermobility
- Painful or aching ankles and feet
- Shin splints, tendonitis or tendinopathy
- Skin and nail conditions such as calluses, corns, warts or ingrown toenails
- Sports injuries
- Sprains and instability
- Flat feet
- Bunions and arthritis
- Chronic medical/foot problems
