I thought I’d found a good mechanic but I was wrong. After my first service there I had to come back 2 weeks later for breaks that started squeaking after the service. I thought it was an honest mistake. Though a year later when my check engine light has turned on, I turn up and he doesn’t even bother to look at my car, just says “keep driving it, it will be fine”, what a joke.
Life is full of ups and downs - and a big up is when you come across the "great butcher", the "great tradie"...and the "great mechanic". In 25 years, Ive had my share of dud mechanics and it's easy to lose faith. John at Five Ways Garage restored my faith that there are still great folks out there doing great work...fair, no nonsense, honest and straight up. Will always go to him, recommend him to all and suggest my kids go there too (and they're years away from hittin' the road!)
