Fleurtys is a farm and café at Birchs Bay, on southern Tasmania’s D’Entrecasteaux Channel. Birchs Bay is a 50-minute (50 kilometre) drive south of Hobart, a short drive from Woodbridge.
Fleurtys farm produces a significant proportion of Australia’s native pepper crop, which is grown, dried and packaged at the farm and sold under the Diemen Pepper label. Fleurty’s café is contained within an elegantly designed modern building, with views of the farm and surrounding forest. You can choose from the menu of fresh local produce, or enjoy a picnic pack with freshly baked savoury pastries, local wine and delicious cakes. After lunch, take a stroll around the farm or through the surrounding bush, or visit the farm shop to browse the selection of local products. Choose from the range of Diemen Pepper products or Tasmanian Essential Oils, Tasmanian wines and beers, Hill Farm preserves, Fudge A’Fare, Bruny Island cheeses and Gillespie’s Ginger Beer.
