Flippers Cooked Seafood

We are big fish and chip eaters and have tried a variety of different locations.
Was on holiday in hobart when we went to flippers fish and chips, we were VERY disappointed with what we were served, we had flake that was tiny and I mean tiny, it was chewy and very very overcooked to the point that it was almost inedible not to mention the price which was extremely expensive.. Potato cakes were okay and the medium chips was enough for only one person.
There are plenty of options for fish and chips on the shore at hobart and unfortunately we cannot recommend this place
After a long morning at the airport, a delayed flight and a turbulent landing, some freshly fried seafood really hit the spot. It was around 3:30pm so I only wanted a snack. Sitting amongst a row of floating shops in near wharf, Flippers is right on the end but seems to e the most popular. I ordered the 'bag of treats', partly because I liked the name... And partly because I saw the words, scallop, prawn and calamari... For $10, it was extremely satisfying. Freshly cooked to order I savored every morsel of crumbed goodness... The weather was cold and windy, but the warm paper box of my seafood treats was delicious! Highly recommend if you want a seafood snack near the wharf!
