I took a friend visiting Sydney to the newish Tramsheds complex in Glebe/ Forest Lodge. What a lovely redevelopment! Great for all weathers, storms or heatwaves, as you can wander around and not feel hemmed in. I love the ambience here, where you can see the clever chefs create fresh pasta on the spot, I guess the main ingredients of pasta are what give this business its name. Lovely fresh pasta and a light tomato sauce, didn't need anything else, oh, the prosecco I washed it down with was perfectly dry and on point. Totally worth it for the extra half hour I will need on the treadmill tomorrow.
Came here for my birthday, the service is very good however the pasta is just average. Delicious flavours but I felt that they all needed a little TLC. They could have been improved slightly. Burrata and buffalo mozzarella are yummy. The burrata was served with blood orange which is an outstanding combination.
Stopped in for Apertivo after visiting the Matt Blatt Furniture Pop-Up Bar next door. There was a really long queue here and were told we could wait in the Pop-Up Bar for a drink which was pretty cool. It was definitely worth the wait.
I had the Oysters, San Daniel Proscuitto and Mozzarella and Salt/Pepper Calamari. After a few cocktails, this was the perfect meal which was not too heavy not too light.
The eating counters look directly into all the action taking place in the kitchen which was pretty cool. Upon entry, you can watch handmade pasta created from scratch! The food is as dramatic in flavor as it is in ambience and is a reflection of the leading dynamic approach to dining and entertainment that the Tramsheds Harold Park complex.
this restaurant run by the same person that run a tavola.
