We are now getting somewhere. We have confirmed that it was council land and they gave us the original contractors name and contact details. We visited them today and they are looking into it. I suggest you confirm whether it was private land or council and go to council for contact details. Good luck.
AVOID this company. They smashed one of my car windows while doing footpath maintenance. Thought it was a joke and very unhelpful -were about to drive away when I stopped them. Initially they talked about covering costs but since lodging a claim with Sarah have not heard back. They will not reply to emails and will not answer phone calls. The landline is now disconnected. I will be taking this further.
I cant believe it another vehicle damaged. I too have been chasing this company since November 2014 for damage to my window. Same as you Elliza but mine cost $508. I am not letting them get away with ignoring me. I am taking the matter to QCAT to seek compensation, maybe you should as well. I am adding the costs to my compensation order.
I highly recommend that you DO NOT support this company. One of their employees accidentally broke my car window via a rock and a wippersnipper. The management promised me that the insurance of the company would pay for the $235 worth of damage done to my car, although when it came down to the crunch the management avoided my calls and emails and refused to finalize the claim. Evidently after weeks on end I was sick of trying to chase them up and had to pay for the damage myself. Save yourself the hassle and drama and look for a company that stays true to their word, not like these unprofessionals.
