I emailed the flower barn on Friday 8th August to say I bought a boxed bouquet for a friend in hospital on Sunday 03/08/14. It cost $40 and contained orchids, iris, stocks, chrysanthemums and other foliage. When I visited her the following day the flowers had wilted so much that she had removed them from the display to find that the ends were blackened and they were already cut very short. When I visited on Tuesday the only flowers that were salvageable were the chrysanthemums. This is extremely disappointing and from this experience I would be loath to recommend your outlet at Bateau Bay. I look forward to hearing your response. I am still waiting for a response I took photos of the flowers if they actually want to engage in any discussion or even an apology. Even the chrysanths had keeled over by the following Thursday.
